In June 2000, Kagoshima Prefecture established the Kagoshima International
Business Center in the Kagoshima Prefectural Industrial Building in order to
support the prefecture's enterprises develop overseas.
Kagoshima International Business Center organized the core industries
that the prefecture entrusts and manages Kagoshima Trade
Association, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), Kagoshima Trade
Information Center. Starting with Asia, the center's main point is to help
the enterprises in the prefecture with trades and investments overseas.
